Had to replace- first one had a hole. Really like that it has a rim; keeps food and water on mat.

Thought it was too big at first, but this is great for my cats not making a mess outside the mat.

Took a while to get used to the little "ridge" around the plate, but it does keep "crumbs" from going astray!

I bought this mat about a week ago and I really like it. It is the perfect size to contain minor food and water spills from my cats bowls onto the carpet, and the marble design is really pleasing to look at. I only gave it 4 stars because the silicone is so thin and flexible that my cat can easily lift up the corners and push the mat. She likes to "bury" her food sometimes, so when she starts pawing the mat, it lifts up and jostles the water bowl and spills water. I feel like my cat would be able to this with any placemat though, so it is something I have to deal with. I will still be using it as it is perfect for my needs, I might just have an extra mess to clean up every now and then. The mat itself is good quality, cute, and keeps my floors clean. It would be perfect for animals who do not try to paw underneath it.
