I've read that plastic bowls can cause cancer in dogs and cats. We recently had to put our cat to sleep due to lymph cancer. He was only 2 1/2 years old. My Vet said it was not the virus cancer. Now I feel responsible as I was feeding him out of plastic bowls.

My kitten is almost 10 months but weighs 5.6 lbs. Is he OK? We feed him 2x a day, love a kitten bowl full. After he eats he doesn't act like he's hungry still. Or will he just be a smaller adult cat? The picture I posted is from a few weeks ago.

What should I look for when buying cat food? Blossom likes wet but she occasionally throws up ( especially if it's in gravy or sauce) and Kenwood likes dry but will also eat Blossom's food if available. Right now Blossom is eating Purina Pro Plan and Kenwood is eating Fancy Feast Filet Mignon and w/ seafood and shrimp. Both are inside cats with little to moderate activity . Blossom is 9 years old and Kenwood is 3 1/2. Kenwood is a big black cat and slightly overweight while Blossom is small.
