Shake well before using. On a wet coat, lather your pet thoroughly with a few good palm-fulls of earthbath shampoo. Remember to eliminate all escape routes well in advance (a tip: once your pet is slippery wet, he or she is suddenly smarter and faster than you are). Work lather from head to tail and keep out of eyes. Leave on for at least 90 seconds to allow gentle cleansers and rosemary oil to work their magic. For extra sheen and manageability, use with earthbath conditioner. May be diluted ten parts water to one part shampoo if desired.

Avoid eye contact. Flush thoroughly with water if eye contact occurs.

Allergic Reaction to Shampoo

We used this shampoo on our golden retriever. By the next morning he was having a allergic reaction. He had bumps all over his body . We took him to the vetenarian and they put him on medicine. He is now starting to lose the hair on his back. I recommend if your dog has any skin sensitivity STAY AWAY from this sbampoo.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Shampoo smells great but does not seem to lather well. I did notice my dog didn't scratch as much after using this so it must work on hot spots. Love that it is made in the USA!

Yes, I recommend this product.

My dog has been scratching and licking his paws lately due to allergies. He tends to get flakes on his back side only and doesn't have any hot spots, would this be gentle enough to be used on him?

  1. I think so. We got our little dog from the shelter and he was scratching alot. We use this shampoo along with the oatmeal and aloe conditioner and it didn't irritate his skin at all. He seems like he feels better after being bathed with it. We've also had to feed him food for sensitive skin as well. I really like this shampoo though.

Is this shampoo tearless? Would I be able to wash my dog's face with it?

  1. It states to avoid contact with eyes. I washed my dogs face with just a little bit of this product but I was careful around her eyes especially with rinsing.

Does this shampoo make a lot of lather?

  1. I use this shampoo on my dog and it doesn't make a huge amount of lather...but that is a good thing. You don't want to have to rinse for an hour to get a ton of suds off of your dog's coat.

Is Earthbath shampoo with Tea Tree soap or detergent free?

  1. The label states that it is soap free. Ingredients are; purified water, coconut based cleanser, aloe vera, xanthan gum, tea tree oil, olive oil squalene as a preservative. All ingredients are natural 100% biodegradable, and gentle on your pet and you.

My Shih Tzu has puppy has severe skin allergies. He can't tolerate the 8-in-1 Puppy Shampoo. Would this be a good alternative?

  1. Not sure if you found relief for your shih tzu yet, but I bought this product for my shih tzu and I have been very satisfied--and so is he! Good luck!

non-detergent shampoo for Advantix

  1. This product specifically states that it will not wash off topical flea applications.
