My vet is on vacation but I have a question about the new meds my vet prescribed my dog. My dog takes cyclosporine eyedrops ( 1 drop per eye twice a day) for dry eye. His vet also prescribed Apoquel for his skin allergy because he can no longer take steroids due to being diabetic. Since Cyclosporine and Apoquel taken together have adverse reactions will taking the Apoquel while he is on cyclosporine EYEDROPS be harmful?
My cat was prescribed 50 mg amoxicillin but the pharmacy gave me 250 mg capsules. how do I safely dose this?
If the dose of Gabapentin is so small, why is it only available in 100mg capsules? That means I have to break open the capsule and divide it into thirds for my cat!
If my dog is taking diltiazem Hal 60 mg, what strength would it be if he took diltiazem cd?
Can you give me some info on dexocycling 50mg for cats? I have a 11 mth that started last month with a 103 temp, 3rd eyelids exposed, had covenia shot, and week later steroid shot, nothing helped. Today had test, bloodwork fine, neg on felv and fiv. Lost half pound also. Since fuo Vet thinks toxoplasmosis and prescribed this. Since cant dry pill, would a syringe with water after pill work? Hes not into treats n not eating much. Can pill be crushed? Thank you.
My dog has been on cyclosporine to manage her IBD and needs to take Clindamycin for a few days following a dental procedure. Is it okay to give these two medications one after the other? Are there any interactions? How many hours should I space them apart?
Can you tell me price of Convenia?

My Sharp-pei weights 50 pounds. My vet prescribed 500 mg Cephalexin twice daily for 32 days for a bacterial skin condition. The dosage seems correct, but the doration of 32 days (56 capsules seems too long. She has now had 22 days of treatment. Should I continue or discontinue?
