I put a Sergeant dual action collar on My chihuahua yesterday. Today her neck was red and was wining. I took the collar off and washed the dog very well. Could she have a allergic reaction to the collar or the chemical it is made out of. Is there anything else we can do?

How to bandage the tip of a cat’s ear
My dog has an open sore on his tail which is about an inch long and 1/2 wide - took him to local vat and he was treated and given a collar to wear - the collar was too short and he could still get to the wound - was told by vet that wound seemed to be healing ok but it seems worse today. Would rather not return to this vet - would like to see about alternative solutions. I need a longer collar or something to keep him away from the wound.

My 4 month old puppy has a really thin soft collar around her neck and she still shuts down when wearing it. Basically she won't even move and just stares. Is there a good method to help her forget the collar?(similar picture attached). When i remove the collar she goes back to playing. I get all excited and feel loved when my corgis follow me around, cuddle, and sleep with me. Then I remember that it’s part of their instinct to do that because I’m the closest thing my dogs have to a pack animal. She has that thing on her because she’s in heat and I now have to wash my white covers.
So we are going to use a remote collar to train the puppy to never chew the chainlink fence she doesn’t do it often . A trainer on YouTube Solidk9 training recommended. I think it’s better to have a mild stem correction than broken teeth one day. Also going to use to work on her recall she is 80% reliable everywhere but backyard that’s 10% she comes back. What brands on amazon are good? And how do I condition her to the collar?
