How to train my dog not to be agressive to strangers that visit our home
My fiancé's best friends have two 1 year olds, a hyperactive vizsla & a German shepherd, that have such bad behavior that I don't want to visit their house anymore. The pups jump & claw you, try to play-bite, & run around the house in a frenzy. They have routinely gotten out of their crates & torn up the house too. I want to suggest professional training or offer to help train them (I have some knowledge in dog training, though it may be too big of a project for me) but I don't know what to say.
Our rescue dog has developed a strong attachment to me. He has been nipping at visitors who try to hug me. He has also become extremely protective of me when I walk him. He growls and barks at other dogs as they approach. What can I do to reassure him and get him to stop nipping at our guests ankles?
How can I make my dog less possessive over my room(which she sleeps in too)? She does listen to me, and she is very smart; however when it comes to people who she doesn’t see much, she gets possessive and barks, growls, and even bites them at times. Please help!
Need gromming store for my cat
Does Petco allow muzzles for grooming?
Hi , I'm adopting a dog from my local shelter & I have already done a " meet & greet " with him and my Chawawa ( can't spell that ) . They seem to be a good match . Question is , how do I introduce him to my 6 rescued cat's ?? I had a paper towel I rubbed all over the cat's & let him smell it . He didn't seem to care . Any help will be great . Thank You
Having friend groom my foster yorkie. I have been sheltering in place since March and concerned about contact from outside. I am going to shampoo dog, groomer is just going to give dog a serious cut. I plan to reshampoo dog with some antibacterial dog shampoo when she finishes. Are there any other precautions I should take. Dog and groomer will be in garage for the service. Safe distance will be maintainefd
How can I know I can adopt This dog
I just brought a new dog into my house and he’s completely fine with me but is biting visitors. How do I stop him from doing that?
My dog doesn’t feel comfortable with strangers, he tends to try to hurt them. How should we control when we have company over for the holidays?
Is there a vet membership program for dogs.
