My local vet recommends fiber for my cat. I have ground flax seed and wondered if that's a good fiber source
I brought my cat (4 YO black American short hair) to the vet a few months ago after she was scooting frequently and her glands were released. Our vet said she needed to be changed to a high fiber diet which we did immediately (Image attached below). This was in fact one of the ones the vet told us to buy. However, she now wants wet food and I have no clue what to give her. I read up on Merrick and am unsure which specifically to buy. Help! Please and thank you!

My kitten eats too much. She has been to the vet and he has had a stool sample. He said she probably just eats too much but could have iratable bowel. I’d like to switch her to a higher protein food, current protein is 32, and see if she eats less. If I pull her food up for a day the next day her stool is good. Otherwise, mushy. I leave dry down but could put her on a schedule if need be. There are other cats in the house who this food would be for as well. Vet said fiber but I’m not sure.

I feed my cat Hill's Prescription Diet k/d Early Support Chicken Canned Cat Food, and order it from chewy.com, but the are out of stock and vet doesn't carry it. She has only 10 cans left. Is there any other place to get this food quickly?
I have an 11 year old cat who gets constipated semi often. He’s had to get a procedure done 3 times in a year to remove the “clay like stool.” I was wondering what high fiber non prescription foods were best. He’s also on science diet wet food (urinary health) but he’s always asking to eat more. He eats 2 5oz cans/day. Can he be put on high fiber dry food and not get constipated as often? Thank you!
Which dry food is best for an indoor, seven year old cat, low in calories?
Hi I have a female cat, 4 yrs old who has been diagnosed with megacolon and has been constipated her whole life. She has received one enema under sedation and two water / lactulose enemas over the past month. Her appetite isn't the same, she used to eat a lot. She was prescribed with Hill's Diet W/D but refuses to eat it. What is the best cat food to manage her megacolon? I'm also giving her 2 ml of lactulose a day when she doesn't move her bowels. Any other suggestions to help her? Thank you!
