What is a good food for a small breed dog food for weight management?
- Blue Buffalo has a small breeds healthy weight food. Our Doxie loves it! No more picky eating - resulting in guilty pet-parents offering unhealthy food choices as bribes to get him to eat! Our Doxie has lost 5 - 7 lbs so far, with NO extra exercise because I'm disabled. Truly the perfect healthy option for us! Good luck to you!

Weight Loss in Dogs: i have 2 Chihuahua's who have been on a diet with no results. The 1st dog weighs 10 lbs and should 5 to 6 lbs. The 2nd dog weighs 20lbs and should weigh 12 to 14 pounds. This is according to the Vet. We feed them Blue Buffalo Healthy Weight and Fresh Pet. Dog 1 gets 15 grams of each, Dog 2 gets 40 grams dry and 25 wet. Both are fed 2 time a day. The dogs willnot walk or any type of actual exercise.

When is a good time to start switching my 7 month old puppies over to adult food? I have corgis so Iâm wanting to get them on a brand of food that helps manage their weight because as of now i feed them on can of blue buffalo wet food and one cup of blue buffalo dry food. My male is now 23 lbs and my female lost a pound so sheâs back to 20lbs. I prefer to stick to blue buffalo and grain free, my corgi has an extremely sensitive GI tract let me tell you.
Dr. Hinson, since blue buffalo has a lot of calories and my maleâs weight is steadily increasing (as expected because he is still growing) what food can I use to keep his weight under control because if I leave one cup of kibbles (each) out for them, Iâm lucky if they finish it within three days so itâs not like Iâm over feeding them plus they get daily exercise so I guess what Iâm looking for is a kibble thatâs grain free and can help feed my male enough but not get overweight.
