You are capable of looking on the back of a packet of any cat food to see if it Contains Tuna or not. Since your new kitten is Allergic to to Tuna. Try a Chicken that is only a Food for Humans Grade. Some canned cat foods do use Human Grade Chicken in FDA certified labs. I believe Nature's Recipe has an FDA chicken Cat or kitten food recipe. And, I also know Merrick brand cat food is made in USA of 100% USA ingredients. I suggest you go online to Blue Buffalo. If you are committed to Blue Buffalo, go online and find their website. They should have a Customer Service phone number. Call them! Before you call, get a pen & Paper ready . Ask about their products. Ask if One of their Formulation Specialists, or one of their Cat Food Chemists can speak to you. Talk about your kitten'sTuna allergy and your Kitten's dietary needs. YOU are capable of reading Cat food labels, yes you are. Read everything, every word. If YOU see words like Calcium Carbonate, or Potassium Chloride, these are for Calcium and potassium sources for a kitten. Don't let the big words scare you. If they don't say Tuna or Tuna broth, your fine! . If you find an absence of a Tuna ingredient, and you have read all . You have called the customer service. You can trust yourself! Try finding Human Grade Chicken cat foods, those where FDA certified chicken used. You cam find online. I think Nature's Recipe uses Human Food Grade Chicken. They have pouches maybe. They do have a plastic tiny bucket of food with a peel off top. I use Nature's Recipe Grain Free Indoor Weight Hairball Control Salmon &Potato formula. It has Turkey Meal and PeaProtein too. So it uses Potatoes and Peas as its Carbohydrate source. Its a good food and I believe it does have a human grade of chicken in its Chicken &potato recipes. They have kitten foods too, I think!. You are capable of reading labels. If Tuna is the allergy, look for chicken. If , I know my cats Nature's recipe Dry Food that is salmon has zero tuna. But, you may try staying away from Fishy foods and use chicken or Duck. I hope this has helped you!
