Hello, which is better for a 9 month old Shih tuzu puppy, Blue Widerness grain free puppy or Blue Freedom grain free puppy?
My yorkie eats the blue freedom for puppies. She will be a year old next month. When do I switch her to adult food or can she stay where she is?
- I just asked my vet that same question, and she recommended using the puppy food for at least a year but suggested using it until our girl is 18 months old.

Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. Mia always has some kind of allergy so I was looking into getting BLUE Basics® Grain-Free Salmon & Potato Recipe For Adult Dogs but it doesn’t have any chicken or poultry by-product meals, corn, wheat, soy, dairy or eggs. But I see that there are 4 different blue buffalo foods.”Basics”, “Freedom”, “Life Protection”, and “Wilderness”. I’m anal on feeding nothing but the best for my dog, as well as the ingredients in it that best fits the needs for the specific breed.
