Do you provide a limited ingredient canned food for senior dogs that is geared more towards one with kidney disease?
- Blue Buffalo has one, but it is only available with a prescription. That is what I feed my dogs, and we have been pleased with it.

Hey guys, I’m slowly transitioning my dogs over to adult food but they are still getting their puppy food. I fed my jack Russell blue buffalo “life protection” for the 17 years I owned her. I’ve continued it with Kalei, and don’t plan to change brands unless you advise different. But I see that there are 4 different blue buffalo foods.”Basics”, “Freedom”, “Life Protection”, and “Wilderness”. I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
What is a recommended dog food? My dog just turned one and she has developed a sensitive stomach to her blue buffalo food (chicken & brown rice). She was not a a fan of this food and often wouldn’t eat it. I was recommended by my vet to try Natural Balance LID, and her health has improved (no more puking or diarrhea) but she is never excited to eat it & often waits until later to finally eat breakfast. I have her on chicken & sweet potato. Should I try duck? Or fish? or a different brand?
