We have 2 different densities to suit your dogs chew level. If your dog is able to chew off pieces larger than the size of oatmeal flakes, then we recommend you move to the next higher density. GET THE PERFECT BONE FOR YOUR PUP - Density Guide: "Soft" density is perfect for LIGHT chewers, teething puppies, and old dogs with sensitive teeth. This density is the safer on teeth, and will clean above the gumline but DOES NOT LAST AS LONG as the Hard density. "Hard" density is a direct all-natural replacement for nylon or hard rubber and is super durable! Roughly 2% hard than nylon quit giving your dog sticks of petroleum based plastic and try BetterBone Weight Guide: Small size is for 5lbs to 45lbs, and our large bones for 45lbs+ size dogs. However this all depends on breed and how your pup "carries their weight". Please consult our size guide on our website to show the physical sizes of each bone.

These bones are amazing! The only bones we buy and our dogs love them. I mistakenly ordered a few soft ones before and wouldn’t recommend that unless you have a very light chewer. But all of our hard density bones are still in good shape. My dogs just tend to lose them so I’m buying more. Highly recommend!!

my two pitbulls love their nylon bones. i saw this and was happy to find an alternative i thought was better for them. after 10 minutes over half of it was EASILY chewed off and ingested by my 1yr old. for your dogs safety i highly do not recommend

Our dog is a very aggressive and powerful chewer. The BetterBone has lasted a week with only a few grooves so far! That's six days longer than the nylon and other natural chew toys we've tried so far. It's nice that there aren't splinters.
