I had three terrible consecutive experiences with Petco. Experience one. The first is that I ordered on their website an aquarium filter. The website indicated I should pick up the filter the next day at a petco store that is 30 minutes from my house. When I got to the store I was told my merchandise was not in stock. I drove another 30 minutes to my home empty-handed. Experience two. I then called Petco CustomerService to get a refund, which after a week has not arrived. At CustomerService I purchased another item for the one that was not in stock. During the purchase, I was disconnected from CustomerService three times as I tried to enter my credit card number. I spoke with three different women from CustomerService who had foreign accents that were incredibly difficult to understand. Each person was more incompetent than the next. When Petco’s credit card system finally worked, I received an email stating that my merchandise would be delayed and they could not give me a date of delivery. Experience three. I ordered aquarium sand on Amazon that Turned out to be purchased from Petco. After waiting for delivery of the aquarium sand, Amazon informed me that they had to cancel my order because Petco could not deliver it. This is just pathetic. I will never shop at Petco again. Petsmart has their act much more together.

As a past fish owner, this is not a tank I would recommend for holding 29 gallons of water because the sealant on the sides isn't great. I, however, bought this for my new hamster; it works great for him. I would definitely recommend this for hamsters.

I had this delivered by door dash and it must've been damaged because within an hour of filling it up, the bottom of it bust and flooded my house ! I've had fishtanks for 50 years and never had one do this. Its a shame petxo couldn't pay for all the water damage to my floors!

Aqueon 29 gallon aquarium this aquarium has met my needs to open the space for my community tank.

For the price I paid, its a very good tank. Are there better tanks out there, yes. But this is very adequate and its glass. The silicone seals seem to be done right as well. So all in all its a good tank.

I wanted pretty fish, but... did not realize they were aquatic rabbits. I went from 9 rare cichlids to hundreds over the course of a few years. I now have 8 29 gallon grow out tanks with different sizes throughout my house. I have never had a problem with any of my aqueon tanks. I did have one issue with a T-fin. It was used so there is my disclaimer. It split at the seam from the top and down 4 inches. I came home to a loud filter sound. Wondered why it was low, so I filled it up the 2 inches it was missing. I ate dinner and, saw it even lower. Called my local shop that was closing in a 1/2 hour. Made the 10 minute drive, the replacement tank was in a cart waiting by the register. I was back up and running in a few hours. So after this experience, I don't by the other brand, or any used tanks. Not worth ruining your day, or carpet.
