Will this work in a 30 gallon tank
- As long as the room temperature is 68 -72 you should be fine.

Will this work for a 5 gal betta tank?
- A 100W is a bit strong for a 5 gallon tank and there's a chance it could overheat it, and the 100W heater is also larger and won't fit as well, for a tank of that size a 50W would better.

My room is 72 degrees will this heat my tank up to at least 78 degrees in my 20 gallon long? I dont like bettas being at anything lower
- I have this in my 20 long and have no troubles with it staying between 77.5 & 78. It won't go above 78. My home in winter is around 74 and the tank heater doesn't come on that often, so it keeps the tank temp pretty stable.

Can I use this heater on my 8 gallons tank?
- I used this heater in a 9 gallon fluval flex before upgrading to a 20 Long which it's in now. The heater shuts itself off when it reaches 78F. My first heater of this model lasted a little over 5yrs, so I purchased this same one again.

My heater's knob is not glowing red after I put it in water for 45 min and plugged it in. Is that normal? Also, my plants came with a baby sea snail. Should I get rid of it.
- I would be worried if the indicator light is not flowing red. Also, get rid of the snail.

What is the best way to heat hedgehog cage with lamp?

He's a full grown betta fish, I've had him for a little over half a year, adopted him from a friend. He has a filter and a heater in his tank & I try to stick with recommended products. As of the last couple months, his fins are curling up in the back and he will only eat one pellet every other day or so. I had been feeding him three pellets twice daily. Last week I started cleaning his 1 gallon tank twice a week instead of once a week, and am considering upgrading to a 2.5 gallon tank instead.

Please help!! I have a 5 gallon fish tank starter kit. Water conditioner. Thermometer. And it has a filter. I have bought 3 gold fish all from Walmart. came home from wk at 5pm noticed one of my girl fish lying side down on bottom of tank not breathing but gills still red i put her in a sealed contaner with air stone and plastic wrap around it trying to get her to breath again when i picked her up she felt very hot to the touch heater said 86 degress but she felt very hot like she was cooked to death the other fish are fine i did a water change immedatly filled w/warm water dechorild water how can i get her to breath again
We recently bought a Betta from a chain store pet shop. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with a heater. He’s been eating and swimming around, acting fine. The first day we had him I noticed this bump. (Didn’t notice in the petstore but hard to see in those cups they keep them in) Here’s a side shot. Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
