The Cultured Red Eye with Dark Red Rim Brain Coral will bring a lot of attention to your aquarium. The Brain Coral is a fan favorite among reef enthusiasts and the Favites species is one of the more common ones seen, however they are commonly misidentified as Favia sp.-Favites sp. have more of a honeycomb shape. The Brain Coral is considered to be an easy coral to care for and is an excellent suggestion for the newer reef hobbyists. This coral will retain their coloration under moderate lighting. Moderate to higher water flow is optimal with this coral and will help prevent sediments from settling on it. They have long sweeper tentacles that come out at night so be sure to provide substantial space between neighboring corals. Supplemented feedings are not a necessity for these corals but, target feedings of small meaty foods when their tentacles are out to enhance growth rates and coloration.

ACCLIMATION: Allow the sealed bag with your new fish to float in your aquarium for at least 15 minutes (but no longer than one hour) to ensure the water in the bag matches the temperature in your aquarium. For new aquariums, adding new fish slowly helps to properly develop the nitrogen cycle, which creates a safe environment for your aquatic pets. A bacteria booster may also help develop a new aquarium for your new fish. Petco offers free water testing in store to determine if your water is safe. DIET: A well-balanced diet consists of a variety of flakes, pellets, freeze-dried, and frozen food, depending on the species. FEEDING: Feed sparingly and no more than fish can eat in 1-2 minutes. Overfeeding can quickly foul the water, especially in smaller, unfiltered aquariums.

I have a emerald cory and it’s skin looks like it’s peeling. I am worried it’s some type of infection. It’s color also got considerably darker and is swimming sluggishly and haphazardly. What do you recommend?
We recently bought a Betta from a chain store pet shop. He is currently in a 10 gallon tank with a heater. He’s been eating and swimming around, acting fine. The first day we had him I noticed this bump. (Didn’t notice in the petstore but hard to see in those cups they keep them in) Here’s a side shot. Looks like one tiny fluid filled bump, size of a scale. Any ideas?
One of my parrot cichlid has developed black eye which I don't seem to understand as to what is it exactly. Eye is swollen and a bit out of its socket. Previously it was white but now changing to black color. Due to this fish is hiding continuously and other fishes are pinching it.
