I really was hoping that our 3 year old English Bulldog would be great for this food…. BUT it doesn’t seems like it… I read and read about the best “Limited” ingredient food and there were several that were out there that had no Chicken and wasn’t Grain Free…. We started out with the Duck then we swapped over to another food half way and then we actually went back because he stopped eating it…. We finished out the Duck bag…. ONLY issues during this time was “Loose Stool”…. We moved over to Lamb thinking that it may not be as bad in the stool area…. This is where it went down hill and we are in a pure nightmare situation right now…. After 3-4 weeks he has developed GREAT amount of Hot Spots on his neck fur falling off and bloody underneath a large amount of Chin Acne… At first I thought nothing of it because he has seasonal allergies yearly… NOTHING like this… After the bag was done we moved back to the duck thinking that the Lamb was the issue… 3 weeks this Friday 04/25/2025 and he has developed 3 additional Hot Spots. His Chin Acne however is clearing up with constant tending to…. The Hot Spots on his Upper Back Lower Neck are slowly growing hair BUT 3 new ones have popped up since moving off of the Lamb…. NOW IDK if it is working or not… BUT as a Pet Parent I cannot keep going on this brand and as I said above…. Very Upset that he couldn’t stay on this and do great….

Fantastic food for our Chesapeake Bay Retriever that completes in dog sports. She had stomach issues before finding this food. No issues now. Great on skin and coat too.

I did a lot of research before deciding to try this brand/formula. What sold me was the MANY reviewers saying it helped with there pets food allergies, which i was dealing with in my beagle. My beagle and dachshund were on Open Farm for 2 years when all the sudden the beagle started scratching and rubbing around her mouth and the dachshund started walking away from his food. I tried different proteins in the same brand with no luck. I switched to ACANA duck & pumpkin about 3 months ago and within 2 weeks of the beagle being on it her face was totally healed and she wasn't scratching anymore. My dachshund also loves it and is dancing waiting for me to put the bowl down lol. It is expensive, but it is worth it. For my 25 lb beagle and 15 lb dachshund the largest bag lasts us about 7 weeks.

Not the product is Petco!! Thier price is 6 dollars more than the local pet store! And Petco is corperate meaning they get bylk price!! INTERESTING!!! Thier sale at 20% of still more than my local pet store. Example 4lb bad 22.69 at my pet store all the time!!!! They ripping people off!

I have 2 very large mastiffs with very large allergies. U have made a combo they are not allergic to and will eat. Ive been a raw feeder for over 25 years and between the price and the unavailability of most organ meat ,i had to find another way to feed two picky monsters thank you Keeping them healthy, and trim is very important to me

Would this be an appropriate food for a 7 month old golden retriever puppy in regards to meeting large breed puppy nutritional requirements?

    I've always fed puppy formula (especially large breed) at least til 1 year or longer to help with growth. They need the extra calories, in my experience. This is a great food though for adults.
