I've done a pretty good amount of research on what a good kibble should be and from what I've seen this (regardless of flavor - which I occasionally switch up for fun) is basically the poster child of good dog food. More importantly - when I first got my rescue Boston Terrier and was desperately trying to figure out what was causing his skin, tummy and ear problems - the limited ingredients were invaluable. And I still choose this brand today, my best Pal is doing great with ACANA and it's my most trusted brand. Mars Brand - after your purchase - PLEASE keep this brand true to it's origin (no pun intended) as a lot pet parents really appreciate the care and quality of this food.

Great choice in food that's reasonably priced for a dog with a high metabolism. My son's dog eats two cups per day and is able to maintain her weight just fine. Other foods he's tried have required twice the amount or more, plus brow-beatings from the vet when she is underweight.

Our Weimaraner puppy is extremely allergic to chicken. beef, milk, eggs, yeast and soy... got so sick (vomits and diarrhea) she needed to be hospitalized and we thought she wasn't going to make it. The idea of losing her at 10 weeks old was unbearable. This food has works wonders for her!!! She is now close to a year old and 86 pounds of chaotic joy (typical weim puppy).

Great food for my frenchies with allergies haven’t had a single issue with their food allergies since we switched to this food
